Village of Endicott Hydrant Flushing Update

Hydrant flushing continues to take place Mondays through Thursdays from 9 to 11  p.m.

Please keep in mind that there are several factors beyond our control that may affect how much work is completed each night. These may include:
• The time required to flush each hydrant
• Whether hydrants must be opened slowly or can run at full flow
• The time needed for water to run clear
• Unexpected events, such as water main breaks or emergency repairs

On some nights or weeks, we may not complete the full list as planned. When this happens, it is not for lack of effort, but due to these changing conditions.

As always, crews will continue to place notification signs in neighborhoods daily, so residents are aware when flushing is occurring nearby. When your street appears on the schedule, please watch for posted signs in your area.
