Water Conservation Notice Issued for Endicott Water System

The Village of Endicott Water Department is asking all customers served by the Endicott Water System to conserve water immediately due to reduced well production resulting from prolonged extreme weather and low groundwater levels.

The recent dry weather has significantly lowered groundwater levels in Endicott and the Town of Union, impacting the Village's water supply. By reducing water use now, residents and businesses can help ensure there is an adequate water supply for essential daily needs and emergency services.

Please Conserve Water

Until further notice, customers are asked to:

  • Do not wash vehicles.

  • Do not fill swimming pools.

  • Do not water lawns or landscaping.

  • Limit laundry to essential loads only.

  • Avoid any unnecessary water use.

Who Is Included?

This conservation notice applies to everyone served by the Endicott Water System, including:

  • Village of Endicott residents

  • West Corners

  • Endwell

  • Greater Town of Union

  • Anyone who receives an Endicott water bill

When Will the Notice End?

The Village will continue monitoring groundwater levels and well production. Another notice will be issued as soon as conditions improve and the water conservation request is lifted.
