Important Water Service Notice 2-10-26

The Village of Endicott Water Department is actively addressing several water main breaks, particularly affecting areas on the North Side of the Village. While crews work to make necessary repairs, you may experience temporary water discoloration. This is normal during and shortly after maintenance, and we appreciate your patience as service is restored.

Additionally, due to recent freezing temperatures, we've seen an increase in broken water meters and frozen pipes throughout the community.

To help prevent frozen pipes, please consider the following:

• Allow a small stream of water to run from a faucet, especially overnight.

• Keep cabinet doors open under sinks to allow warm air to circulate around pipes.

• Know the location of your water shut-off valve in case of an emergency.

Your cooperation helps protect both your home and the Village's water system during extreme cold weather.
