STATE OF EMERGENCY DECLARATION

Effective January 25, 2026 

I, Nicholas Burlingame, Mayor of the Village of Endicott, hereby declare a State of Emergency in response to the cold temperatures along with the current and incoming snowstorm. This declaration is made in accordance with the authority vested in me under Section 24 of the New York State Executive Law, which empowers me to take necessary actions to preserve public safety. 

Considering the current and impending severe weather conditions, I am committed to taking all required and available measures vital to ensuring the security, well-being, and health of the citizens and residents of the Village of Endicott. 

This State of Emergency will remain in effect for five (5) days or until it is rescinded by the Mayor. I hereby direct all departments and agencies of the Village of Endicott to implement whatever steps are necessary to protect life and property, maintain public infrastructure, and provide emergency assistance as deemed necessary.
